Spook Me story!

This is a slightly random and last-minute story for spook_me, because my initial reaction to the prompts is that unsatisfactory longish fic that might eventually make a fantasybb. But anyway, here's a different, Buffyverse story. It's set in the Rulesverse, which makes very little difference as it's mostly about fighting aliens and gross alien-body-horror

There's never enough Oz. Partly because he doesn't insist on dominating a fic. But I think he adds a lot.

I really do like the Rules'verse. Glad the magic troops kicked in though -- that thing seemed really yucky and hard to kill. Talia had the right idea not to pop the bubble. Thanks for the story!

Thanks! I don't write so much in it now, but it's always there, my little sandbox to experiment with a more grown up world, where people do the paperwork and worry about the dead monsters and their killers.

This is brilliant - looks to set up for some big battle, with Faith doing the Slayer protectiony thing, and then it just turns into ugly, painful, unfair death and she can only watch. (And of course it has to be Faith who gets to empathize with the monster.)

Thank you! It's a messy, ugly thing, but sometimes Slaying is. And even all the structures and paperwork in the world can't hide it.
