i know it's been like, forever and a day since i updated...

finally updating... since it's been so long i'll give you a brief summary... for more details give me a call :)

-being a lifeguard at camp is insane and nowhere near as much fun as being a counselor
-being yelled at by the head guard at the pool for camp for doing the right thing makes the job even more unpleasant

i think that movie made it worse for us. it made me just want to go home and glue myself to the tv. or, you know, eat the dvds

they just get better, really- the last is my favorite, so you know they don't suck at the end :)

there was an article in the new york times magazine about graphic novels (you're thinking...graphic novels..!!) and so i read and read. and neil gaiman was mentioned in a sentence. the sandman - - one sentence. i was mighty mad
and it was on the last page too so i almost thought he wasn't going to be mentioned at all, so overall it was very stressful and i should probably go back and reread the article at some point to actually register what it was saying.
this is probably due to the fact his would have been the only work i was familiar with (though far from done) but there were lots of others they recommended that i'm thinking i might look into, though none seemed to be sandman-like
