I just got back into the office from my week in Hawaii -- Waikiki and Kauai. Very fun and relaxing. We hung out on the beach, went to Pearl Harbor, snorkelled (lots), did a helicopter tour, did some scenic drives and I took a surfing lesson ( Read more... )

Last night I got off work around 8, went home and Lynette had made dinner -- chicken and rice, very tasty. She puts Progresso chicken noodle soup in the rice maker instead of water, making the rice full of chickeny goodness ( Read more... )

Just had a great breakfast meeting. Very fun. I used to work with the guy, so we know each other pretty well. He's now at a venture capital firm looking at and managing tech companies. Great discussion about the future of the industry, the size of the tech company opportunity, etc ( Read more... )

So I got to thinking about the differences in the world between the time I was a child and the time my (currently unborn but growing every day) child will live. Clearly this list is through my own filter, but I find it interesting. How the world has changed in such a short period of time.

Somewhat lacking here. Need to pep up...only been at work for a good 13 hours, so I should have plenty of energy.

I have to be on a plane at 7:00 am tomorrow, which of course means I should be at the airport at 6. Which means getting up around 5. Which stinks.

Speaking of which, I should figure out how to get out of here...
