Slow motion in a fast paced world.

In a world where everyone wants everything now, immediately, or yesterday; I have chosen to live in a state of suspension of sorts. There is nothing like falling in love. Nothing in the world. The romantic trappings, the random smile that comes across your face with a random thought, the scent of flowers and sweet perfume. I love that. I love ( Read more... )

A very interesting take on the idea. I must admit I've never been in that inbetween space, though I wonder if I ever will.

It's an interesting place to be. I don't want to force the issue - and possibly push her away. But I can't help but feel what I do. So I make do, at least for now.

I can completely understand that, though I think that in my last relationship I was perhaps not pushing certain things as much as I should have been.

I don't believe I've heard this track before. Is it a taste of things to come from the new Roxy album, or did I just skip over the memory of hearing it on an older album?

It's from "The Best of Roxy Music and Bryan Ferry" it was an alternate bonus track we put on one of the releases. I can't remeber which release - Euro, Japan, US.

Currently we are considering writing new material - but we have a huge backlog of things we never even released, so we have that to consider as well.

Of course the problem is that even if you chose to put yourself in that state of suspended animation generally choice isn't involved when love is involved, it's something that happens even if you try and fight it.

I know how hard things have been. Really I spent the last few years thinking I was going to spend the rest of my life fighting for something I didn't even want, but life has a way of surprising you.

Well that's it - you have to decide what you want - come to terms with it - and... you know the rest.

I'm sorry that I just can't give you what I know you want right now. It's lovely that you want to be patient. But as I said, don't put all your hopes in me.

Some things are worth waiting out. Especially given the dishonestly out there. At least with you I know precicely how you feel. You are openly and completely honest.
