Y'know: it's been 11 months since I lost my job. After five years in the bank, and a collection of skills that could serve well in so many technically specific jobs, I figure I've got what it takes to make it ( Read more... )

I think the way you handeled drugstore.com was perfect, but it just did not work out with them per se. letting a potential employer know that you are still interested is always good. my boss at the childrens theatre said that he, and many people that he knows who work in HR for a diverse group of companies say that a constant "refresher" of who is out there on the part of the potential employer can never hurt ( ... )

Try the UW - they've always got lots of jobs and have benefits.

I have no idea. But this is a phenomenon. My BF gets offered a job for 9/10 interveiws; my ratio is more like 1/20. We are very similar...I haven't a clue.
