I'm sorry to hear about your recent problems, but I'm glad your dad caught it in time. I don't know about you, but I think men in general are stubborn about stuff like that. That whole stoic thing, you know. They like to talk about how bad they feel, but when you suggest seeing a doctor they refuse because they are way too manly.

My husband: I've had a cough for three weeks. I threw up blood this morning.
Me: You want me to make an appointment?
My husband: No. What for?
