They wouldn't say anything... they would boycott Bryce and every person, company, or institution associated with him in any way. And then maybe raid his house and set free the captive animals.... :)

You know, I heard this story before, and it still rings slightly superficial. It's close to the truth, but its still not quite the truth. One thing, the liberals of the country aren't socialist, not yet at least. Republicans are generally on the right path, but they should take it upon themselves to do some charity and give back.

They do give back, maybe some don't, but it'd be stereotypical to say that republican's need to be more chariatable and give more...

Sorry, that's not what I meant at all. The liberals want to pay taxes and then have the government take care of charity with the money in the form of welfare and such stuff. Republicans often verbalize that they want to lower taxes, but I rarely hear them say that if they saved money they would then give it to charity... in fact, tax cut rationalization assumes that any money saved from tax cuts would be spent selfishly. I believe in higher amounts of charity and lower taxes synonymously, but they're not well linked in political conversation or dialogue. This story, like most, ignores the fact that if you suddenly had all your money (your 4.0 GPA), you should voluntarily give some of it away anyway. The end result under both systems (as the difference is defined by this illustration) is about the same unless you keep your money for yourself. Therefore the illustration is somewhat superficial, unless Republicans keep money saved from taxes for themselves. I don't think I explained that very well, but does that make sense?
