So Michigan was amazinger than expected. Crystal clear fresh lake water. Log cabins with Robert Frost memorabilia. Lake side bon fires with family roasting mallows to make s'mores. Fishing, shopping, bike rides along the coast...and sailing. Even the midwest midnight thunderstorm was awesome. I would highly recommend Lake Charlevoix ( Read more... )

you went to Michigan?!?!?! I was just there not too long ago. My whole family is there. Charlevoix is cool but I prefer farther north :)

i was there july 4th through july 11th...we went up to makenaw island on one of the days...i dont know how far north you go...i really enjoyed it though
