Only a few days until I leave with the radiant sonbanon for our long-delayed honeymoon. It will be a week packed with no cell phones, no web sites, no video games (not even World of Warcraft!) and no work. Just a week with my wife on a cruise ship and zero obligations

Mayan ruins - hitting Cozumel? If so, there's a few things you can hit that aren't on the beaten cruise-ship path (depending how long you're there). We did a horseback ride through the jungle that stops at a little village - it also hits some of the cenotes, etc. There's also a few cool beach bars along the southern beach of the island - our favorite was a place that had enough power for the fridge and a radio - it's just beers, sand, tables/umbrellas and chairs (excellently uncivilized) - and they have good ceviche.

Have a good trip - I'm missing the Riviera Maya lately!

wow, no internet for a week!!!

just something to keep in mind...my yogi went to the mayan ruins and was told it was safe to drink the water there b/c it was a tourist attraction, but it was not safe. the water there made her (and everyone with her) very ill for the rest of the trip.
