The next step

I have been thinking a lot lately about what the next step entails as far as career and personal development. The more I think about this, the more I'm beginning to think that it might not be in Seattle. I've also come to the conclusion that law school is an absolute must within the next 5 years and I already know that UW and Seattle U are probably ( Read more... )

Its often reccomended that your graduate school is in another geographic area than your undergraduate. Is this a rule, no, but it does show future employers the ability to relocate and adjust to new scenarios.

But grad achool is often different than undergraduate. Many times graduate program offer tuition waivers for being a TA or RA, and the out of state portion is additionally waived. Graduate and doctoral students supplement a teaching resource and its often cheaper to waive all their fees than to hire faculty.
