Everything living needs some level of care. There's survival and then there's flourishing.

Plants are...well...they can manage on their own. And that may put them at sixty to eighty percent of what they could be. But with care and attention they could reach 100%. It would be helping them to reach their optimal potential.

They are of a sort. The orchards provide fruit which is food, which is energy that sustains us.
