April 23rd - Day 2

Today started out with me waking up to the sound of Dad's voice booming in my ear. “What time were you planning to wake up?” I roll over and look at the clock.

“8:45,” I mutter. The clocks says 8:40.

I haven't posted on here in a long time. Not since before Mom got sick and passed. I've tried to get myself to write, but haven't been able to. Now that we're going away, I think it might be time. Mom always loved my blogs, practically forced me to write them. Especially when I was away. So here goes. For you Mom.

Waiting is terrible. I'm bad at it. I like things to happen quick, I like answers served up to me on a silver platter by noon. But life really isn't like that. I learned that my first round of trying to go back to Disney. I was forced to wait pretty much until the last minute until they said I could go back.  It's been a strange couple of weeks. The biggest news is that things have finally started happening with my agent. In that I mean the submission is well on its way and pretty soon editors will be eviscerating my life's work...well my 2007's work. I did something very uncharacteristic today. I woke up before 10am. Even more astonishing. I did the same thing yesterday and the day before and the day before that!
