I am the first person to admit that I am not the smartest person on earth. I am not the most attractive woman, I am not the richest, I am not the strongest or the fastest or the best at anything. seriously, protesting is a pretty extreme thing productive members of society don't really have time to do it, which is why it is so popular on college campuses.

I agree with you about our history of giving aid. But I think that a lot of people would disagree with that, for a similar reason to why they might disagree with action right now. What some of us see as aid, others see as us trying to promote our democracy and ideals on the rest of the world. But personally I think that living without fear of being killed or raped by your government at every term is an ideal worth spreading. That's just my opinion of course though.
