A surprise
Two mornings ago I took a pregnancy test.
It was 8dpo which is way earlier than I’ve ever gotten a positive but I had to do it. And it came back positive! I took 3 more and they were all faint but definitely there. I had Daniel run out and get one of the First Response tests but it came back negative. I’ve been testing the last two days and the lines have gotten darker. So today I took one that says yes or no, and it said yes!
I’ve been trying to cut out caffeine so I don’t know if that’s why I have a busting headache or if it’s hormones. So far I’m peeing a lot, have a headache, am irritable and want to go to bed at 6 o’clock.
I called the midwives this morning to see if I should come in for labs but I never heard back. I don’t know if I’m considered high risk at this point or what.
I’m excited but also trying not to get attached as I know my chances of loss are pretty significant.
Oh how I’d love to be holding a baby in my arms come October!
