For me (I'm in Italy, FTR), it was August 1997, the Everybody (Backstreet's Back) video.

For me, it was in Canada in 97. Although I had heard of them in 95 when I was again in Canada. I fell in love with the Get Down video. When I look at it now, I can't figure out how. lol.

But it was really in 97 when it became a long-term thing. Heard them from my cousin. Fell in love. Listened to QPG and then ALAYLM and fell in love. :)
