I grew up in McMinnville, Oregon, a small town in the Willamette Valley (where many of the great pinots come from).

I am the middle of five kids. My parents had three biological children - me being the youngest- and adopted my two younger brothers when I was 8 and 12 from India and Guatemala. You probably know that my youngest brother passed away in 2003. My mom works in international adoptions and my dad is an electrician. I also have four nieces and two nephews (on my side- more on B's).

I am in PR and Corporate Communciations. I would definitely work on the Answer to Cancer Foundation (my family's) full time if I could.

My favorite item of clothing is probably my purple velour jumpsuit pants and jacket. Oh so cozy.

I really love Portland - because I grew up near there. I think my second favorite place I've been to is Boston. Maybe because it's so similar to Seattle?

How long have you and Brian been together? How did you meet?

We met in 1998 and have dated since. We met at a bar. I was out with some girlfriends and as we were at the bar someone said "Oh yeah - tonight is Brett D's bachelor party" as a huge yellow school bus full of guys drove up, parked and unloaded. Brett D is Brian's brother. We met that night and dated long distance (Portland to Seattle) for about a year. Then I moved up. We dated for 5 1/2 years when we got engaged!
