Claudia and Mary Anne definitely do way more than Kristy does. Mary Anne does a lot of work and Claudia is generous with her extra time, her phone, room, and her beloved junk food. Do they ever mention if the BSC helps Claudia pay her phone bill?

Kristy is so awful in this book I am glad you're snarking this

The club really should have fallen apart pretty quickly because of Kristy's attitude problems. Or at least after this book have her stop being such a hard ass. She can still be in charge and call meeting to order and asks about dues and all that shit without being a bitch about it. Not act like they committed a cardinal sin for being a second late. Like I say with Karen, who wants to read about a bossy brat? But Ann apparently thinks that that's being a 'fun' kid so that's what we're stuck with.

Their her friends and this is how she treats them? They even do everything she asks (well orders) them to do and she still treats them like crap

Kristy never treats the rest of the BSC as friends. She thinks because she's president, she owns them. She never treats them right. She's nothing but a Goddamn bully and Ann lets her get away with it because she sucks as a writer.

The checklist is so stupid. Exactly how does it show she trusts them? It shows she doesn't. Mary Anne's right, if she trusted them, she wouldn't have to ask them at all. ( ... )

I would be pretty pissed if I hired a pet sitter and found out they were letting a bunch of kids in my house so my pet could entertain them."- Totally agree, but at the same time, anyone who would hire an eleven-year-old to take care of fifty-something pets might deserve to be shown why children don't make reliable hired help (not that I would want any of the animals to suffer). And, if I was a parent, I'd be horrified that my baby-sitter took my kid(s) to a stranger's house, full of strange animals, even (especially?) if the owners were on vacation and another kid was in charge ( ... )
