Happy (late) Holidays to everyone! Since many of us have been busy with the holiday season, I thought it would be a good idea to give everyone a brief update:

I know that LJ has been making your life Hell, and I really appreciate all the work, but I wanted to point out that with the new layout I'm getting a long, side-bar style add up over the actual post. Nothing I can't scroll past, I just wasn't sure if you knew about that problem.

Noo, I wasn't aware of that. Which browser are you using? I'm sort of back and forth fixing lunch right now, but I'll be more around soon and I'll definitely work on fixing that then. Sorry!

ETA: I know this probably isn't it, but I got thinking about it and should probably check. The blurb is supposed to be across the top - that's not what you're referring to, is it? Here's a screenshot of what the community looks like when I'm logged in.

I use Chrome, and it's not an emergency or anything. It's on the comments page. I don't know how to take a full page screenshot, but this should show part of the problem. This is what I see when I open a comment page: http://i1084.photobucket.com/albums/j412/bookplayer/formatproblem.png

The add goes down about another screen before I finally get to the text and the comments.

LJ isn't recognizing half the changes I've made... so if you don't see a change right now, it should be better for you later. This layout should hide the ads. I think it'll be fine temporarily?
