If you have a Mac, you can sync iCal (or a Google Calendar) with your iPod. I don't think it does reminders, though.

I use Google Cal, so I set it to SMS me reminders when needed.

Cool. SMS reminders would work. I didn't know that Google Cal had that.

What are you syncing with?

The current torrid love affair is with the Tilt. I've had picky, picky people tell me that they can't think of anything wrong with this phone. *shrug*

The iPhone is an option, but I think that the Tilt has cornered that apple. More after you reply...

Tilt looks cool. I'm a bit stuck with T-Mobile contractually at the moment. I'll have to take a look at it. I don't have a calendar app at the moment, but I run linux, so it'll probably have to work with google calendar.

I have the new square nano for what its worth.. love its alarm/reminder function. But, knowing I'm not quite as tech savy as those that are posting to you, what about an Iphone? I looked at them when I was doing wireless for my laptop, and they fairly much have everything down to the mp3 player. I did not how ever check out an alarm/reminder function. But heck even the old nokia's had audable alarm functions on them and I doubt Apple would forget something so basic specially if they put it on their nano.

I've heard that the iPhone actually is beat out by a lot cheaper models. Plus, I'm contractually locked to T-Mobile for a bit, and so can't switch to AT&T without a lot of pain.

I dunno, I'll figure something out. I actually liked the idea of SMS reminders to the phone pretty well... but that does seem like a problem getting the dates in initially.

Well as I don't own a cell phone either , I do know that most companies will happily accomidate you chaging cell phones.. not contracts or companies hun. Most encourage the update in styles as it seems to retain customers. Only know this cause my mom and sis comes up with new and latest style cell phones all the time.. same contract.. same number... just different cell. But I know you'll come up with something =).
