Thought you guys might be interested to know that if we managed to get everyone who has pledged so far (and we still have two days to go) up to their maximum pledges by writing enough fic, then we would raise $1182. Hee! Well, that's what these little games are for - trying out things you might never have tried before :)

I think this is lovely. Curious Caprica Six, wanting to experience things for real instead of just conjuring them in a projection, and trying to see new ways to push forward for her people.

Curious Caprica. Heh, my new favorite alliteration, I think!

Real world vs projevtion is fun. Exactly what a projection is is something I've been curious about. Is it just how they navigate things? But Boomer uses one to mindfrak Tyrol, so I always wondered what the cylons thought of them as- the difference between cylon reality, projection, and reality.

There's a poetic contemplative feel to your writing, which reminds me very much of Caprica!Six.

She isn't a character I've honestly given much thought to... Exactly what lense she views the world through isn't something I've tried to find before, so I'm very glad this style matches her.

I sort of fell across the anology while I was writing, and I was thinking about how New Caprica is almost always described as having one season in 'fic. (yet manages to have trees that aren't evergreen with leaves)

It made me think of the cylons so I figured she could come up with the camparison too xD

This is just lovely! Beautifully written and poignant. Love the contrast of her projection forest and New Caprica - her (naive) hope is so genuine.

I think her hope for a peaceful coexistence is the only thing I get about Caprica!Six at the start of the Occupation.
