Tom was willing to admit to himself that he was intrigued, and maybe more than a little scared ( ... )

I love this! I can totally see Laura fighting for this cause. I love how Tom makes a move as soon as he sees her, but she's not buying the smarminess. It's so much like them :)

Also love how you included Adar. I would actually like to see how that scene would go if it were Tom, explaining himself to the President. Especially considering there's no way Adar wouldn't be jealous ;)

If Laura had stayed a teacher, it is my alt!reality head!canon that she organized the strike- so I'm glad you approve.

Ha, Tom would have a lot to explain to Adar after this meeting, though I see him conveniently forgetting to mention he asked her to dinner.

How'd I miss this?? I love this flip, and both Laura and Tom sound like themselves, but through a lens of different experiences. Laura has all the cockiness that we saw in Tom. And Tom is still very much Tom :-)

Heh, I figure if Laura has enough of a belief in her cause to have (possibly) blown something up, she might be a bit more.. forthright, than her canon counterpart :)

I'm glad they're both still themselves in this.
