(Sorry for the late reply, I've just been super busy lately!) I love how you show that Tom really did believe he was doing the right thing with the executions. His melancholy for the future on New Caprica that never was, and the flashback to his own trial and his thoughts on how much power that inadvertently gave him in the end (as a martyr) were a really nice touch.
