Moddy Post: Ship War
I'm throwing out the rules for the next couple of days, because I've been wanting to do this again for a while as it was so much fun last time. Now that the Pentathlon and most gift exchanges are over, it seemed like a good idea, and I thought it might liven up the quietness of LJ a little bit too.

Kara couldn't say she minded. It actually felt quite nice. Still.. "You know I'm cutting it before I ship out."
"I know." Her nails scraped lightly across her scalp, and she twined blonde strands around her fingers.
"I don't.. have to." She'd seen plenty of other pilots maintain long hair. Kara had just never seen the point before. It just got in the way. She let it grow out on leave because it generally didn't have time to get to her chin. It had become a bit of ritual, cutting it before heading out into space. Maybe Laura really liked it though. Kara would be alright with growing it out, if it got too bothersome she could always just cut it herself.
"Oh no, I like it when you have short hair."
"You do?"
"Mhm." Laura brushed Kara's hair out of the way and kissed the back of the neck. The pilot shivered. "I can do that without anything in my way."
