I'm throwing out the rules for the next couple of days, because I've been wanting to do this again for a while as it was so much fun last time. Now that the Pentathlon and most gift exchanges are over, it seemed like a good idea, and I thought it might liven up the quietness of LJ a little bit too.

Grin toothy, like the planet never got nuked by Cylons, she catches the bottle of water he lobs at her.
"You must be tired."
"You think you wore me out?" She laughs as she takes a drink. With the back of her thumb, she wipes a stray drop of water from her lower lip. "You'll have to try harder."
"I'll keep that mind."
He joins her at her perch on the edge of the table, his elbow brushing hers when he lifts his own water to his mouth. Her eyes are drawn to his sweat-shiny arm as it bends, his throat as he swallows, his lips on the rim of the bottle. It's not hard to catch her looking, and when he does he grins.
He'd be up for a little off-the-court one-on-one, she can tell. It'd either be the best thing she's done in weeks or it'd be the dumbest. Maybe both, and she's definitely all right with that.
