(I spent a long time trying to come up with a title that wasn't ridiculously cheesy, but then I figured, frak it, it works because it works)

It was easy to say he was doing it for the people; a kind of solidarity.

The work force was vocal enough though, that anyone with ears would know that the water tank on Colonial One was being fixed. Still, Tom found that he actually didn't mind using the communal showers. They were spaced every two city blocks, great ugly concrete monstrosities, but they blended in rather well with the tents that composed New Caprica City ( ... )

Wow! I love Tom being willing to be passive here. I would have loved to have seen his face when he saw the red hair. I liked this beyond my ability to write a coherent comment, it seems :-)

Laura really is a ninja, isn't she? I wonder if Tom could be so stealthy. "Do this often?" He panted, unable to let things lie without at least getting one word in. Of course our Tom had to get a word in edgewise; it's in his nature. This was fabulous! :)
