I always liked this deleted scene and was very disappointed that I didn’t survive the final cut, but your version is even better than the original. And I absolutely agree with you….I never believed Adama that he wanted her to stay on Galactica only for safety reasons (LOL)….

I loved that little sleepy 'I fancy the President and I wonder if I can convince her to stay with me for her own good?' scene :D

Great prompt! Is it me or does he want her to stay on Galactica so he can sneak into her quarters in the dead of night?

I think he wants her to stay on Galactica so he can house her in HIS quarters :) I can just imagine 'Sorry Madam President, you'll have to bunk with me, we're short on rooms these days. People have taken that 'lets start making babies' thing kind seriously so we're well over populated on Galactica now. Speaking of having babies...'

::sighs:: Plus he's saying all of this to her while sat on his bed, yeah, he wishes she was there with him. ::more sighs::

I had to cut poor Billy from this scene, I thought it might narrow down the options too much if someone took the clip as a major part of their fic, this way it doesn't mean it has to be set before Sacrifice. Although ::cries:: I miss Billy!

If it's any consolation, I already have a silly fic in mind to go with the next prompt. :D

Can't wait to see the new prompt!

I will post the fic but I don't know when yet. Am going to spend three days in Paris so I won't be able to finish it properly this weekend.
