There is so, so, so much pretty in this, but bleedy!Gaius always makes me tear up just a little. I mean like, I'm very fixated on my fixation, and so this episode is always, 'The Basestar is so pretty, the Sixes are so pretty, Gaius don't die don't die don't die.'

Re discussion queries, Gaius does really seem to get some stuff out of the hybrid that one time. She gives him some pretty intense compliments ('a mind that burns like fire' is a nice thing to say to a guy.) and I was a little sad he couldn't repeat the success here.

But yeah this episode is mostly me crying over Gaius when everything else is so pretty. D:

I still can't believe they blew up the Hub. >:( Hell, I still can't believe there ever was a Hub. This is the point where the writers really, really started just making shit up for convenience's sake.

It is pretty, though, and this is an awesome picspam. And I love all the parts with Gaius!

Aside from the obvious reasons, know why I love this episode so much? Cause it spawned an Elosha/Laura icon that I found hilarious. And you know the rest of that story.
