Being a Kara/Sam fan I couldn't help but just flail all over this episode.

As for how she reacts to him...I think the thing with Kara and Sam is, when she told him she married him because he was easy, I don't think she was lying entirely. Sam was solid. He was there. She could abuse him and take her crap out on him and he would still have her back. Even when they broke up after Collaborators, he was still there for her. He's a constant, and she knows it, and so she isn't always the nicest to him, because she doesn't have to be. But now he's not solid. He could be gone any second. And Kara has to face that. She could lose one of the only people who's always believed in her. It just throws into stark relief everything she stands to lose by losing him. It makes her realize just how much he matters. How much she doesn't want to be without him.

Medic Ishay, who left her bedside manner in her other pantsFor real, right? I thought for sure they were going somewhere with Ishay giving pregnant Caprica dirty looks and then this ( ... )

I thought for sure they were going somewhere with Ishay giving pregnant Caprica dirty looks and then this, like she was going to turn into some anti-Cylon nut who 'accidentally' gives the wrong dose of something and kills them.

lyssie wrote that. And it is creepy and plausible.

Yay, Kara/Sam! *sniffles* OHHHH, Kara/Sam! My heart...

MTE but said in a way that would actually make sense to people other than me :]

Caprica/Tigh surprised me--I ended up liking it more than I thought I could, especially considering its squicky beginning and squicky implications of "parenthood." (Tigh as co-creator, frakking one of his creations.)

Bloody quorum room, yikes. Lee and Laura! Smarter and wronger! I really like that scene.

1. EXPOSITION, YAY! Ellen Tigh, yay! SAAAAAAAAAMMY! *cries* (Er, generally I like it.)

2. It was mostly clear, but various charts were also helpful!

3. Ellen the cylon scientist mastermind was AWESOME! Mostly thanks to Kate Vernon, because before the episode I wouldn't have gone for it.

4. I did like the theory that Daniel was Kara's dad. I think it's cool even now.

5. As a Kara/Sam shipper I have to say that Kara took a long time to realize her feelings. :) But that's okay 'cause they're together in a fabulous afterlife, really! Like, they don't need vipers to fly! And Sammy's hair is pretty again!

6. HEEE! Yes, it's most impressive.

Pretty pretty. Awesome commentary. I'm here for the Kate Vernon, really. Her resurrection is one of my favorite scenes of the series--not necessarily because I was happy she was resurrected (I go back and forth on that) but because of how she did it so beautifully.

I agree, she was fantastic in that scene! The way she goes from terror to understanding is so palpable.

This was awesome. I am one confused by the cylon backstory, so I appreciate the infodump. I also really appreciate that cap of Adama looking ~shocked~ at the crack in his wall. Amazing.

I didn't mind this ep, the info dump was a bit much, but because I am ruled by my heart, I was more upset at Bill's screen time being wasted staring at his ship instead of staring at his other dying woman.

I know, right? I feel like they're really banking on us caring about the Galactica as if it's a character and he cares so much that it's "dying". But NO, GALACTICA IS NOT A PERSON. LAURA IS A PERSON.
