Awwww, Sam/Chief! I really loved this and part of what I love about it is that you establish a history with very few words. I also love that it's from Sam's perspective and Tyrol doesn't come in until the end, it sort of catches you off guard but the way you've done it really works. Seems like maybe they've been avoiding each other. And I gah, LOVE the alleyway portion where he just drags him into the shadows. Hee! Very vivid, again in very few words. And I loved the ending too.

Perfect. In my head, this pairing works so well because they're both so stubbornly stable, holding each other up, even picking each other up. You captured that beautifully. And you captured Sam's confusion so well, too.

Thank you so much, I'm so glad you liked it :)
For some reason they've been my favorite pairing from the get go and I really didn't wanna screw it up by writing them myself, so, I'm very relieved that it worked :)
