He liked mysteries.

They were complex and difficult to understand.

Despite their level of intricacy, when you finally cracked them there was no greater feeling.

You could spend all your time focusing on the big picture and never get anywhere.

You needed to chisel away at it bit by bit.

Uncovering layer after layer until you finally came to the root of the enigma.

Mysteries made him think.

They made him question everything he knew and believed in.

They made him frustrated when there was a particular part he found difficult to understand.

He liked mysteries.

Mysteries had red hair.
