And it's one of those cases where the movie is better than the book! One of the reasons I had to put down the book was because Bella was so scornful of the other kids in Forks, but the movie makes them...well-meaning but a bit overwhelming. I love the scene outside the restaurant where the two girls are giggling and giving Bella "go you!" eye signals when discussing her getting dinner and a ride home with Edward.
And the plot showed up before page 370! I love Alice! And found James to be less creepy than Edward (my reaction to Edward: "I've seen this episode of Criminal Minds, and it did not end well")! And I have no idea why they put a wig on Jasper and told him to act constipated, because in real life, he is a very attractive young man:

You're right about the Forks kids. Luke Girardi! And, yeah, they were actually kind of retardedly sweet, especially Angela and Jessica.
Alice is dope!

haha. He was completely creepy, when he didn't seem utterly socially retarded (okay, he mostly seemed both creepy and socially retarded).
Poor Jasper!actor. Look at him with his little vampire fangs. He wants to be a real life vampire! That's scary. And not constipated!
