So I got the two Life with Derek books. First of all, I want to know why I can't get paid to do this. What does this Heather Alexander person have that I don't? (She wrote Breakup Blues, and someone else whose name escapes me wrote The Dating Game).

I still think Ralph is Jewish and he and Sheldon were buddies when they were little. I can't remember if that's Cat's theory or December's but it totally works for me. So whatever Ralph's last name is it needs to be Jewish. I like December's Housman but I have to admit it's only cause I'm a Dirty Dancing fan.

And I think Shepherd may as well be canon until we get something else.

You never told me this one, Cat! I love it! Oh, another thing about the book- the correct spelling of Shlepper is "Shlepper." Which bugs me. There should be a c. Anyway, I want you to fic that Sheldon-Ralph thing! I would if I knew anything about Hebrew school and bar mitzvahs!

Oh, yeah, that's canon about the partners in crime- it just is. She just doesn't see them as best friends like we do.

I like Wallace too, but there is something so symbolic about Shepherd/Shepard, no matter how people spell it. It feeds nicely into my love for him and how he's going to be a do-gooder. :0

I know they're not necessarily canon, but I think a lot of it that doesn't contradict the show can be taken that way.

It will become my life mission to do a tv show novelization one day...and get paid for it! :)
