I pranged the new car earlier this evening. Looks like just the front bumper’s damaged (and spotlights, headlamp washers etc.) and that is currently being held in place with cable ties. Scatter your own random selection of curses, imprecations, expletives and invectives liberally ( Read more... )

On the way down to London this evening, I had an interesting moment on a roundabout when the twin pressures of steering and traction made the tyres momentarily decide not to grip. But that was half a second while I let the wheel straighten and the accelerator lift, and then we were OK again.
I see you weren't quite so lucky. Our sympathies.
