Picard is the only real captain. ;-) Oooh, except I liked Janeway too

Apparently my entire f-list watched the Sarah Connor thing.

I went to an Ansel Adams exhibit recently, but (for my personal tastes) he suffered in comparison to the Annie Leibovitz exhibit in the same museum. (just b/c she's one of my faves, her Women exhibit in NYC was breathtaking)

We can't know more that your family, that's just silly ;-)

Would have liked to have see both shows. AA didn't do people well (except, I have a FAB shot he did of Georgia O'Keeffe in the 40's) and Annie is expert at getting inside the soul. I love her work and her story. Susan Sontag, wow!
As to getting to know me....perhaps I used hyperbole. Well, yes indeed, I did.

This Leibovitz exhibit, which has a book, but was sold out when I went, was phenomenal. It documented not only her photojournalism and her celebrity shots, but was peppered with photos of her family. And it has all the harrowing pictures of Susan's journey with her cancer. Breathtaking, truly breathtaking.

On a sillier note, she just did a piece for Disney, where she used celebrities to recreate classic fairytales. http://www.notcot.com/archives/2007/01/leibovitz_takes.php

Ok so I sat and wrote this all out and my answers and when i went to post it wouldn't let me, said it was too long, so I closed it down. Then I was gutted cause I could've posted it in mine...I'm an idiot. So anyway I'm glad to see you get your fix of tea in the mornings, I couldnt start my day without a cup of tea either. And wow south Africa in 9 days, your so lucky, is it a family holiday or work...I'm just being nosey, sorry.

No problem. We are all friends here. I am going with my daughter to visit my son and his wife who have been there working in a vineyard/B&B. They are done now, and it is time to play!!!3 blissful weeks of fun. Haven't done that in a very long time!
