Its good to see you made it back safe and sane. when I heard about the reafting with crocs i was a little worried.I only have one question for you.why did you stop to take a pic of a charging elephant?

Well, I wasn't driving the Jeep, and I really was never worried. It was just mostly bluster on her part. Now maybe if I were on foot, I would have scampered out of range, but they are pretty fast, and I would probably have been stomped upon. I was happy to be close enough to smell them and see their eyelashes. I could hear the suckeling sounds from the calfs. Way cool! BS

Welcome back!! What an amazing trip and I totally give you props for going the hostels route. You're a more adventurous woman than I am :) I'd be looking for the nearest Marriott with room service, lol.

Yeah, you are right. I never knew a pillow could be that thin! or a mattress so uncomfortable, and don't ever say the word bunk bed in my presence!. Good thing I was so exhausted from our days adventures, that I was out cold at 9:00!!!
Are you going to SD 6/20? I got my tics.

You already got your tickets!!! You're on top of things :) At this point I'm not sure. My younger brother is graduating from UC Davis on the 14th and I finsh the school year at work the following Tuesday and his party is that Saturday..hmmmm sorry, thinking out loud, lol So at this point I'm not quite sure if I'll make it to San Diego :) I may have to wait for her long anticipated return to SF ::crosses fingers::

The real reason I jumped on the tickets is that I was really pissed at how WB handled the LA pre-release show, and gave 5 fans a total of 10 tickets. That is not a fabrication! I was willing to drive down for that gig and was not a happy camper. So this time, I was not going to get shut out! $45 is not too steep, and I will drive down Hwy 5 singing at the top of my lungs, and since I have a Prius, I can get there on almost 1 tank of gas. I have a good friend who lives in SD, where I can crash, that is if I go to bed that night. I am hoping there will be a bunch of chenzelers there, and we can stay up and tell stories and be goofy. They may think of me as old as dirt, but I have a good sense of humor and can tell good Bdwy stories.
