Lace up your shoes, if you've got things to do put your head in the clouds.

I haven't updated all summer. Mostly because, my life is mostly school, work, church and family, and there hasn't been much to blog about. My television has largely been ignored and is gathering dust, and perhaps even more telling, I have only read a handful of books (including the Time Traverler's Wife, and The Host).

However, all this ( Read more... )

Wow, cool, what a fun idea!! I am not sure I could attempt something like that without planning, but sometimes those sorts of trips end up being the most awesome because things just happen.

Yeah. I am overly responsible and plan and over think every aspect of my life. I have a list of things I want to do and I am researching where I want to go and what I want to do when I get there, but I really want to try to just get in the car and go. Not really have any routes planned out to far in advance. I need a little spontaneity in my life. For once.

Wow, that sounds epic!

What should I do when I get to your state?
Visit me! Assuming I'm not off somewhere myself. You should see the Golden Gate and the redwoods at Muir Woods. Take a spin through Death Valley.

Oh, yes death valley is for sure on the list. I would love to visit people from my friendslist while I am out and about.

That sounds amazing! I've always wanted to see all 50 states. If you're around Philadelphia, you should visit the zoo. You should also definitely get a hoagie and iced tea from Wawa, aka the greatest place on Earth. If you're in Boston, I like Quincy Market or the harbor.

Philadelphia and boston are both on my list. I am starting to get really excited the more I think about this. Thanks!

Wow, how fun! I can let you know some cool CO things to do, but it might depend if you are doing just the mountains or stopping by Denver, too. I'll think about it!

Denver is for sure on the list, because its one of the places I am considering moving to eventually, along with Sedona, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, and Phoenix. I will probably end up in some city I haven't even thought about, but right now those are the places I am considering. I also want to spend a day or two in the mountains though as well.

You have plenty of time to think about it, this trip is so far away.

Go to NYC, of course :)

P.S. I won't be in the States when you do this. Leaving for New Zealand in less than eight weeks, eeeee.

Yeah, I haven't figured out the logistics of driving into that city. But, I cannot really do this trip and NOT go to NYC. I know, sad for me, but how EXCITING for you. New Zealand is pretty high up there on my must gos list.

Yeah, traffic is a bit horrendous. I so can't wait for NZ yet I know I have so much to do before I go.
