YAY!
One of my favorite books, "The Dark is Rising," has been made into a movie that comes out this month!!! Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's actually a 5 book series and I fell in love with it as a kid. I hope the movie does it justice.

Discovered this morning that one of my favorite coffee places, Travelin' Joe, on 27th St., is no longer open for business. The sign said it's being sold by owner. I'm gonna miss their honey lattes. -
CD
Just downloaded a CD from iTunes. It's "Ancient Skies" by the Kevin Lucas Orchestra, formerly called the Dead Musican's Society. Kevin Lucas was my pit instructor when I was in high school, which accounts for my rapid learning of the marimba/xylo/vibes and also for the fact that our pit rocked.
