...So, yeah, I sorta dropped off the face of the planet for a bit. Or at least, it seems so, if you look at the activity over here and realize I haven't even read anything for over a month now

*laughs* I believe it was a quote from Life that first brought me to your journal. Haven't seen Big Bang Theory, though I have heard a few good things about it. The Closer is alright, except the main character grates a little, so I don't do the same little dance of glee for it that I do for Life, Leverage and Burn Notice. :D
*hugs* It's so good to hear from you! That makes me happy, I think of you often. And in other news of things that make me happy, Pushing Daisies is love. I'm crushed they've canceled it. :(
*snugs* Good to hear from you as well. I still miss playing with you! *laughs* And of all the people I knew would love Pushing Daisies, you were at the top of the list.
Maybe you and I and Meg should get to gether and have a Pushing Up Daisies wake? It would be eerily witty and appropriate, don't you think? When Jericho was cancelled, the fans barraged the network offices with peanuts. For Pushing Up Daisies, what do we send? Dead fruit? Pies
( ... )
It would be appropriate, that's for certain. Trouble is, I knew it would be canceled from the moment Olive Snook opened her mouth and sang. Just the way I knew Eli Stone was dead as well.
I've not watched much of the SCC, because it coincides with Chuck and I've been watching that mostly. I wish they'd move things around so I could do both!
Happy Birthday!
*laughs* Well, you have seen some of the way my mind works in a scene-- it doesn't take all that much to extrapolate out from that to me with a syringe in the kitchen. ;)
Was Olive's singing that bad to you, or just the fact they had her sing?
SCC and Chuck....you know the SCC episodes are online at the network's website? We've been recording them, but when we hit a spot where three programs were on at once, we skipped SCC and started catching up via computer.
Olive's singing was great, as was the singing in Eli Stone, but this is quite beyond the pale for TV executives to handle. In other words, it was too wonderful for them to allow to live.
Yeah, I know. Trouble is, I have an ancient computer, and it can't handle any of the online tv show sites. It stutters and skips and is utterly horrid to watch. So I don't. And hope that I'll manage to catch things in reruns.
