Oh, Doctor Who. Once I got my Netflix subscription, the first thing I did was start on Doctor Who.

So. Much. LOVE. I fell hard. I am wearing a Tardis locket necklace at this very moment. I'm still behind, only mid-season 5 but I will make it!

Oh, Nicole. Your comment makes me want to fire off a ton of questions to you about your favorite doctor/companion/episode/adventure/quotes, etc. But I shall resist (partly because you're only in season five and I don't want to ruin anything for you. Spoilers!)

I actually wasn't too keen on it at first, and spent many o' episodes making fun of it. But by the end of the second season, I was a true-Tardis-blue Whovian!

And I must say, Christmas day has a whole new meaning to me now... the Doctor Who Christmas special!

Job: YAY CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU! There's nothing like that confident feeling of I KNOW HOW TO DO THIS AND I AM GOOD AT IT. Extra responsibility is a bit scary, but I know you'll be awesome at it!

Sadness: :( :( :( :( we've had some health scares with my grandparents lately and I know that they're all well into their eighties so it's just a matter of time, but it's still scary, you know? And my father-in-law is already halfway to seventy (and he's the youngest of his siblings), so I know WP's side of the family is going to start getting rough too. I'm glad they told you how welcome and needed you were--if I was in that position, I'd want my best buds with me too. <3 ( ... )
