Angel asked why he shouldn’t go back to the hospital and rip Wesley’s throat out for taking Conner away from him. Cordelia told him a number of things - that he was a good person now, and he had a soul for a reason. That didn’t satisfy him though, his son had been taken by someone he had trusted completely. Wesley needed to pay. Finally, he asked her for one good reason why he shouldn’t do it. She replied that he shouldn’t because Wesley had made a mistake, because she was asking him, and first and foremost because they were family.
