I found the issue rather disjointed if I'm telling the truth. There was good potential with it but it didn't seem to really gel I suppose.
Of course there was going to be a flipside to them surrendering their powers. Having people killed in battle just served as a decent reminder.
As for those gods, you don't need to be a genius to see the consequences of what happens when summoning them up.
Dawn and Xander as a pairing are fine with me but everyone seems non plussed by it, except Buffy. I actually thought it was nice of Andrew to try and comfort her, even if she brushed him away.
Oz and Bayaarma look regretful in helping the scoobies, didn't they?
Also, can the covers please stop drawing Twilight when he doesn't actually feature in the issue? 7/10.
I can't blame Oz and Bay: his old friends from school who he hasn't seen for years have just turned up at his peaceful Tibetan retreat without asking, his high school sweetheart is now suffering from dangerous addiction issues, he's concerned she'll harm their baby, and now an army arrived to kill everybody, presumably including Oz and Bay and their baby and their monks and their yak.
