And I can't thank you enough for allowing me to submit past the deadline. (I am having to take the entire computer to the store tomorrow to be services, Hopefully they can repair it quickly)
I wasn't gonna have a chance to even look at voting yet so I'm happy to leave that extra bit of time. And man, that sucks. Do you have any idea what's wrong with it?
I took it in yesterday and they said "kernal glitch" and some little flaw hidden deep within the software (but not a hardware issue), wiped the operating system, gave it to me to take home and how to redownload files safely and I was in the process of resetting privacy settings when it crashed again. Now they say "probably hardware not software" but they don't really know and I have to take it back to the store and leave it with them. Another 2hrs just driving there and back, another day wasted. UGH
I'm typing this on a laptop now (which I hate btw) and I'm obviously going to be mostly incommunicado the next few days. I'm supposed to be getting ready for a trip so this is the WORST possible timing.
Ugh indeed. You would think they'd take it the first time and check that it wasn't hardware...just in case y'know. I hope you get it all sorted though.
