I am completely out of contacts and would really like to order some over the internet since my eye doctor charges an insane amount per box. I've never ordered normal/seeing contact lenses off the internet before and was curious if any one has any experience doing so and knows of a good/cheap place to go. I order online all the time. Just get a copy of your current perscription. For plain contacts, I order from either walmart.com or 1-800-contacts, whatever happens to be cheaper. For colored contacts for cosplay, I just use cosplaylab.

Basically, since you (like myself) Have astigmatism, you will most definitely pay more for your contacts. Always.

Sucks don't it? Luckily my sister's best friend's mom is an optometrist.

Acuvue is a good brand but as you said, expensive. Do they have a site?

I would imagine they do have a web site, but I don't know if you can order from them directly.

www.1800contacts.com Its a cheap place to buy contacts. You tell them your perscription and then they contact your eye doctor to see if your perscription is up to date. Then you can order them. When I read "I am completely out of contacts." I thought you were talking about like people contacts... like you lost your phone or something lol.

I've been buying contacts online from this website for four or so years now. I don't know if they're the cheapest online, but I've trusted them for years and they have not ever failed me. What you do is when you make your order they will ask you to get your doctor's fax so they can get the prescription or provide some sort of doctor's info. You use your prescription to search for the particular lens yourself.

On occasion they will email with deals on the type of contacts your purchasew in the past. I've been fairly happy with them thus far.
