Okay. Here's the deal

C. and I got engaged just before Christmas.

But the wedding was giving us indigestion.

We wanted it small, but our guest list grew to 200.
Finding a wedding dress was going to be nightmare in a world where weddings have become an industry.
We have little money, and don't want to make our parents foot the bill.

One hint though, from those people that got married on a Wednesday all of a sudden, send out wedding announcements. That way you can still get the gifts maybe.

We're having our "spiritual ceremony" in April or May -- we'll get our gifts then. And it will be optional, of course.

First off, congratulations!!! Andrew told me the good news. You two are so good together, so it's only natural that you surprise us with the fact that you got married right under everyone's noses.

Second off, why am I the last one in the whole entire world to learn that all you folks are on LJ? Bah!!!!!! :p
