As some of you may have already seen on Facebook, my friend Justin (who lives in the Fort Worth area) died suddenly on Tuesday morning. It was an accident, albeit alcohol-related. I don't really have a response to it yet, save for shock and disbelief. Justin was who I would see when I went down to Texas to play cards for the weekend. I do miss

Don't overthink too much.
The betting pool here has shifted from "will he move or not" to "how long will he stay". I'm thinking six months, but I remember saying "no way in hell will I move to California" so I'm not going to make any definitive decisions.

I've just gone back in time intuit LJ to catch up on all that i missed while my own life was keeping me very busy, mostly in very good ways. Note the overall lack of posts or responses (thanks for the birthday greeting!); that's because I just haven't had the chance to check lj very often.
Anyway, so I just caught up.
WOW!! go you! I wish you all good things as you move forward into this phase of your life, and I'll look forward to at least occasionally catching up -- all at once if necessary! take good care.
