Vicky is here. She had planned to come in and ride out with me on my first week of the road trip, and then work intervened (interfered?) and that didn't happen. She got here on Saturday. If I had to make a list of places that I would voluntarily choose to live, California would be near the bottom. Earthquakes, restrictive gun laws (kinda like Massachusetts), income and sales tax rates both near 10%, and an economy that is screwed and no one knows how to fix it.
