I liked this story, and as a former cashier, I could totally relate to some of the side characters in this fic.

One thing is bothering me, though: if Cloud's got someone looking for him every day he's on, and he doesn't like it, why didn't he go to his managers and ask to change shifts, or get them to keep a look out for someone of the description? I can understand not telling off the customer directly, (been there, done that) but Tseng and Reeve seem like understanding guys here.

This fic is based heavily on my own personal experiences as a cashier, and where I work, we're expected to treat customers like Zack with a smile. He never actually touches Cloud, or harasses him, so there wouldn't be much Tseng and Reeve could do. If I was in Cloud's situation, and I told my managers, they'd probably laugh at me. You can't ban someone from a store for having a crush, lol.
As for changing shifts, Cloud is in highschool, so the frame of time he is able to work is very limited. Where I work, a change in schedule can result in a severe loss of hours, and Cloud needs all the money he can get. =)
That all aside, Cloud is a pretty passive person. Even if Tseng or Reeve could do anything, I doubt he'd ask them simply because he doesn't want to bother them with something he sees as stupid. Cloud's a very introverted individual, as we all know. He'd probably see asking for help as being whiny.
Anyway, thank for reviewing! I'm glad you liked it! <3

Haha, it took me a while to figure out what you meant. XD
Yesh, grocery stores are frightening! Just the other day I had a "bonafide pervert" come in. He danced for me. >.>
