This was really sad, but really wonderful too. I loved it.

But, I have to admit I laughed at "depressing death weather" It's so much like Zack to say/think something like that.

No matter how many horrible things happen to Zack, he'll always be the same old Zack. Most people wouldn't be complaining about the bad weather to themselves on their way out. lol!

Found this by accident and I'm glad I did. I'm pretty sure this is one of the few fics that have managed to fill me with glee in a while and then tear my heart out in part two. Like really, omg. <3 Thank you for writing this. It's been so long since I've read a good Z/C fic.

You know, I really have to agree. There are some amazing Clack fics out there, but there isn't really that much of an abundance. (WHY IS THIS FANDOM SO SMALL!?!?) I read once that if you want to read something, and it hasn't been written yet, then it's your duty to write it. I wanted Clack fics, I couldn't find enough, so I started writing Clack! =D

I know, right! It boggles my mind. Here you have this super hot guy, who Cloud quite possibly could have considered his first and only friend, and who willingly made his escape from Hojo WAAAAY harder by dragging Cloud's comatose butt around. And then he gives his life to protect him, HALF HUGS HIM as he's dying, then causes Cloud to go into all kind of staring-at-the-buster-sword-wishing-you-were-here moping fits.
HOW IS SEPHXCLOUD MORE POPULAR!?!?! Zack gave Cloud his dreams, and Seph gave Cloud a hole in his shoulder. =/ The FFVII yaoi community must contain sooooo many sadists. . .

Whoah... That's just... woah. So sad! This was very well written and was such a great description of a lifelong connection. Ah, Zack and Cloud together again at the end! Love this, even though it makes me a little teary.
