Fanfiction: All i wanted for Christmas
A/N: Okay so i got this idea after watching KBS Music Bank Xmas Special. And i totally spazzed at the SM Town love and decided to write a fic on it.
Contains crossovers of various characters, so if i fail at this, please don't blame me. I haven't dealt with such a huge group yet. I know its kind of short and rushed through, but i wanted to finish this before Christmas :/

The day was finally here. As all the kpop idols gathered together to perform for the Music Bank Xmas special, fans were frantically finding their seats and screaming in anticipation.
Backstage, Manager Kim flipped open a long list and proceeded to check on the SM town members.
"Girls Generation, 9 members?"
"CHECK!" Leader Taeyeon replied.
"Super Junior minus the you-know-whos!"
"CHECK!" Leader Leeteuk replied.
"SHINee, 5 members?"
"CHEC-oh wait, Manager Kim, Taemin isn't here."
Onew remarked as the rest of SM Town proceeded to stare at the empty seat which Taemin was supposed to occupy.
"WHAT?! WHERE IS HE? WHERE IS MY TAEMINNIE?! THE PERFORMANCE IS STARTING SOON!" Key yelled in fury as he shot up immediately, scouring the entire place for the little Maknae.
"Jinki, call him. I don't care how, or what, get him here, NOW." Manager Kim boomed, as Onew nodded his head obediently, his hands trembling whle he struggled to get his pocket open, only to have Minho sighing in despair and reaching out to help Onew.
"Where was i...ah yes, F(X), 5 members?"
"Manager Kim, Sulli is missing too." Victoria pointed out as the rest of f(x) watched Manager Kim's face turn red.
"What. Is. Wrong. With. All. Of You? Don't you know that the performance is starting in an hour?! Get her here before we land ourselves in trouble!"
"Y-yes sir." Victoria stumbled but stuck her tongue out at Manager Kim as soon as he turned his back to her.
"Well what are we going to do? Both the maknaes of Shinee and f(x) are missing. And they're involved in quite a huge part of the performance." Luna commented as she crossed her arms in frustration.
"What, i'm still here!" Krystal happily bobbed up and down on her feet, though immediately quietening down when 8 pair of eyes glared at her.
"We'll split up and look for them. Girls, stay in the building and look. Guys, we gotta get ourselves down the streets." Onew ordered, his leader character suddenly shining through more than ever.
"But its freezing outside!" Jonghyun rebelled, knowing that the performance outfits they were dressed in could not keep out the cold.
"That's why i said GUYS. Now come on!"
With that, the shiny effects embarked on their search for the missing Sullmin, while SNSD and SuJu decided to stay out of it, knowing that their help will in turn only cause extra trouble.

"None of their phones are on. Shit, seriously. What the hell are they up to?" Amber cursed as she slammed her phone down after calling both Taemin's and Sulli's number for the trillionth time.
"Maybe they're on a date~" Cooed Krystal as she made puckered her lips and made kissing sounds.
"Eww Krystal, that's obscene."
"Come on, we did that in Chu's music video. Nobody complained. So shut up."
"But, do you think they really went on a date?" Luna asked after pondering for a moment.
"I won't be surprised. Haven't any of you seen Sulli texting very frequently nowadays?" Amber replied.
Krystal's jaw dropped in shock. "So, you're saying that's Taemin, that she's texting all this while? She told me it was Santa!"
Shooting Krystal a 'Wth? And the Stfu now or else' look, Victoria decided to inform Onew about the situation.

"Taemin Oppa, look! The Christmas decorations are really pretty this year!" Sulli chirped, as she stared at the colourful lightings, absolutely stargazed.
"Yeah, they're beautiful. I was right about coming to Myeongdong for Christmas." Taemin replied as he too, dropped his shopping bags, amazed by the decorations.
"Do you think they would have found out by now? That we're missing?"
"Maybe."
"Won't they kill us for sneaking out 1 hour before the performance?" Sulli asked in an extremely concerned tone.
"Yeah, they'll kill me first for suggesting this idea..but nothing beats being here to watch the scenery with you..."
The silence between the both of them never felt so awkward.
Taemin glanced at Sulli's face. It was obvious that she was blushing even under the dim street lights.
Trying to kill the awkwardness, Taemin joked, "Hey, at least we got them presents! These cost me a bomb and we sped through all those shops in less than 10 minutes! Fastest shopping trip in my life i swear. Key Umma would be proud."
Taemin smiled as he managed to pull a giggle out of Sulli. He had never felt blood rush to his head so quickly before, but he was glad that he could control himself and contain his excitement.
"Oppa..."
"Hmm?"
"Thanks for bringing me here tonight. And all that speed-shopping for christmas presents. Its been a wonderful night for me." Ending her speech, Sulli reached up and pressed her lips to Taemin's.
It was Taemin's turn to blush bright red.
Wrapping her arms around him, Sulli whispered in Taemin's ear.
"Merry Christmas, sweetheart. All i ever wanted for Christmas, is you..."
Taemin leaned forward for another kiss, only to have the moment ruined when Sulli reminded him.
"We better get going. Only half an hour left till the Xmas Special!"

"THERE YOU ARE. Where the hell have you guys been?!" Key exclaimed as he bumped straight into Taemin.
"Uh...out...to...to watch the Christmas lightings, yeah, that." Taemin struggled to find a perfect explanation, trying as hard as possible to hide the mutiple shopping bags behind him.
"Watching the Christmas lightings with all of that?"
Well, not so perfect after all.
"We'll explain to you later, Key. Come on, we're gonna be late for the performance."
The 3 of them reached backstage just in time, causing a scene when they arrived as Taemin and Sulli dumped their shopping in a corner, while Key decided that yelling and nagging would be the perfect solution to end the search.
"Found them in Myeongdong! The two little brats, haven't your parents taught you to be sensible and follow the rules? NO GOING OUT 1 HOUR BEFORE THE PERFORMANCE. I can't believe the both of you just did that without informing us. Don't you know how dangerous that is?! Someone would have spotted you! God, you're unbelievable, you two are-"
"That's quite enough, Key. Now get ready, the both of you, f(x) will be performing soon, so give it your best shot, people!" Manager Kim chose the right time to intercept the situation.
Winking at Sulli, Taemin shot her a knowing smile before he headed for the makeup room.
Sulli smiled back knowingly as one coordinator unnie caked her with makeup while another one positioned a reindeer hairband on her black silky hair.
"You. Are so explaining to us what that was all about. After the performance. Now get your reindeer ass out there now." Amber pointed a finger at Sulli's nose, probably trying to make it as red as possible to suit the occasion.

And so they performed for the Christmas Special, and what else is there to say?
It was a blast. The best Music Bank in 2009.
How could it not have been the best 2009 Music Bank?
Not when Victoria did two of her amazing flips, Shinee dancing to Ring Ding Dong once again, and SNSD prancing around in white-red outfits to Gee. Then there was Super Junior of course, rocking the stage once again with a remixed version of Sorry Sorry, infinitely awesome that it would have made up for the missing members.
Not to forget the crossover dances when f(x) came in near the ending of Ring Ding Dong. Amber swore that she loved the dance so much, she wouldn't mind moving her non-existent girl hips to it. Well of course, the fangirl screams have never gotten louder when Taemin and Key danced along to Gee. That would definitely have made Key's night, letting him show off his perfect impersonation of girlgroup dances.
Everyone's favourite would have been the combined singing of the shiny effects generation in Jingle Bell Rock. It was Onew's personal favourite as he had to wear the red rudolph nose. Well, his favourite part wasn't about wearing it, but the part that the Manager had bribed him with chicken in order to make him wear it, since nobody else except Amber would.
Nothing beats having chicken to eat on Christmas. Not even having to wear a red rudolph nose in front of everyone.
The night ended off with a cheery note as the SM town members gathered for a huge group hug. 2009 had been wonderful with the birth of
f(x), and the new smashing hits by the individual groups.
Their only wish for Christmas was that 2010 could be another awesome year and the SM family would just keep getting bigger and bigger with the creation of many new talented girl/boygroups. May the SM Town love spread and live on forever.
"THIS IS SM TOWN AND WE WISH EVERYONE A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!"
Screams filled and echoed through the place, as confetti flew all across the stage. Reaching out to catch a bunch of the red and green sparkles, Taemin slid his other hand into Sulli's and wrapped his fingers around hers.

"So you're saying that this was Taemin's idea from the start, and the reason why you have been texting so often is to plan with him the perfect escape route from backstage, and you lied to me that Santa existed so you could get me off your back and the two of you went to Myeongdong to get the entire SM Town christmas presents, but decided to keep it a secret and rush back just in time for the peformance?"
Krystal's question left her breathless.
"Yeah...around that." Sulli replied, since Krystal had already done most of the talking.
"I would get angry at you for lying that Santa doesn't exist, but i shan't since you got me this shiny pair of sneakers. KYAAA, they even have bows on the laces, omo how cute..." Krystal held up her new shoes and skipped away happily.
"So does everyone like their presents?" Taemin asked as his eyes scanned through the room, glancing at Onew gorging himself with the bbq chicken, Amber flipping her new cap on and off her head, Key snuggling his new pink sweater and the rest of SM Town, commenting and showing off their christmas presents.
"YOU BET!" A combined response came back at Taemin and Sulli tugged at his sleeve.
"Well, i guess everyone is happy right?" Sulli questioned as she held Taemin's hand and swung it lightly.
"Hmm, not everyone...someone here hasn't even gotten his present from you yet." Taemin pouted in reply.
Smiling, Sulli reached into her pocket for the wrapped up box and presented it to Taemin.
"Here, i got you a new watch since you lost your old one."
Opening the box, Taemin's eyes glistened with tears as a brand new watch that was similar to his previous one stared back at him. It was like he never lost his watch at all. The difference was that this new one was shinier, prettier and obviously more precious than ever.
"You said your old watch held alot of sentimental value since your mom gave it to you. So i decided i should just get you a similar one for Christmas."
"But, how did you find this? I've been searching for an entire month and i still couldn't find it."
"I, have my ways." Sulli answered as she watched Taemin smooth his fingers over the face of the watch, clearly intrigued and amazed by its intricate and shiny design.
"Thank you so much, Sulli. This, this is just amazing."
"Hey, that's not all." Completing her sentence, Sulli planted another kiss on Taemin's soft lips again.
Christmas had never felt so beautiful.
