There is too much going on for me to even talk about. I think I'm just going to stop writing in this because... what is the point of having a journal if EVERYONE CAN SEE IT?!? I don't understand. Oh well. What's new? I'm out.

There is a private/friends only option, but that works only irregularly, as some people can attest.

Bottom line: don't put anything on the internet you don't want other people to see.

yeah, he really has a point. otherwise, you can make a different journal, and just inform people you trust or want seeing it what the name is, etc. it works pretty well, since you need a pay account on LJ to use pretty much any of the search functions.

You could also just be very vague, that way people can read whatever they want and won't learn anything they shouldn't.

Works for me at least.
